POSITION SUMMARY
Nurse Managers are the backbone of our consulting team. You own a unit — its residents, its staff, its documentation, and its outcomes. Assignments range from covering a vacancy while the facility recruits, to stabilizing a unit that has been running on agency staff, to opening or converting a unit. You are the point of contact families and staff rely on, and you have our leadership on the other end of the phone whenever you need it.

We place experienced clinical leadership and support staff in skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, memory care, and transitional care facilities across Minnesota — and we back our people 100% of the time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the daily clinical operation of an assigned unit, including resident care delivery, staffing, and workflow

Supervise, coach, counsel, and support the LPNs, TMAs, and CNAs assigned to the unit

Serve as the primary point of contact between residents, families, physicians, and the Director of Nursing

Develop, implement, and revise resident care plans in coordination with the interdisciplinary team

Complete unit assessments, audits, charting reviews, and required clinical documentation

Ensure the unit meets federal and state regulatory standards as well as facility policy

Monitor changes in condition, coordinate physician notification, and manage new admissions and readmissions

Oversee medication administration practices, treatment carts, and narcotic accountability on the unit

Identify recurring process problems and work with nursing leadership to correct them

Provide hands-on resident care when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Preferred
-
Active Minnesota RN or LPN license in good standing (RN required for some assignments)

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including long-term care or assisted living
-
Prior charge nurse, unit manager, or supervisory experience

Strong clinical documentation and assessment skills
-
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned facilities

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
-
Two or more years of managerial experience in a skilled nursing setting

Experience with PointClickCare
-
Memory care or transitional care unit experience
CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS
All Caring Clinical Partners professionals must have the following on file before an assignment begins:

Current, unencumbered Minnesota license or certification in good standing

Background study clearance through the Minnesota Department of Human Services (NETStudy 2.0)

Current TB screening and immunization records
-
Current BLS/CPR certification (where required for the role or client facility)
INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR TERMS
-
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not employment with Caring Clinical Partners or the client facility. You control the manner and means of your professional work.

As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own federal and state taxes, professional liability coverage, and license maintenance.

On-call days must be listed by the consultant to be paid.

Lodging may be arranged for assignments far from home.
